If you've stumbled past my page for whatever reason, you should know that I don't really check here very often any more. I noticed I have a few piled up messages / requests / etc. which went unnoticed so if for whatever reason you need to contact me, to ask permission to use my images or whatever, you're better off to find and contact me via email: judit@photoninja.co.nz Thanks for passing through!

I looked back on a journal entry I wrote here about 14 months ago where I realised that I had been so dejected by photography grade upon finishing high school, that I had spent a year in more or less haitus from photography. Upon realising this, I quickly made some goals. I had forgotten about this journal entry until I just found it today. Among these goals were to take more photos, get my art out, enter more competitions, make connections with more artists, take every opportunity to keep photographing at more Larps. I feel that I have accomplished most of these in some way or another. Project 365 was the perfect project for me to get back

Hai.

I just browsed through your gallery.
You have some real talent thur.

:D
Thanks. :) And thanks for the watch!
I didn't know you are playling larp down under...

B.
Oh yes, in fact, my sister runs nzLARPS. I do most the photography at the games. :D
It's slowly getting bigger here, Auckland is still the main center and gradually spreading to other main cities.
Hehe... I am doing that for 13 years now. The "Scene" is quite big here in germany with really large events like the Drachenfest or the Conquest of Mythodea.
I know from some people doing that in other parts of europe and in the US, but not down under... Perhaps the japanese do something similar... at least, they have such things as reenactment with Samurais in their castles.
It's still fairly unknown here but its getting there. The biggest event we have is the annual convention but even that is only in its third year running.

A few years ago, I made a doco about it for high school: [link]

But just last year, we had a local news show do an article on us: [link]

So we're getting there. :D
